This year we have welcomed the return of fashion shows!

After a long covid induced break from university fashion and awards shows being part of the Fashanne Awards, NTU Graduate show and Blackburn Uni Graduate show has brought a breath of fresh air to 2022.

Anna, Pauline and Rob headed to St Mary’s church in Nottingham back in May to oversea 18 models walk in designs by students from various Midlands universities, the circus themed show was busy, inclusive, vibrant and lots of fun!

We were so impressed by brand new models, Lucas, Grace and Thomas who took the runway like seasoned pros! The Ringmaster, circus performers and an array of models including drag queen Cheddar Gorgeous, celebrity models Sian Green-Lord and Richard Whitehead MBE walked alongside our guys and girls and added to the fabulous and fun atmosphere.

Towards the end of May students from Nottingham Trent Uni showcased their hard work at the graduate fashion show with 16 of our wonderful models.

Then in June 5 of our models, Josh, Benjamin, Ali, Momo and Martha joined students from Blackburn university to walk in their graduate fashion show.

As fashion week fast approaches, a shadow of sadness is cast over us as we mark the passing of our Queen Elizabeth. Inboxes are filled with emails as to whether fittings and shows will still go ahead and what changes will be made to the plans and schedules of LFW.

Our thoughts are with the Queen’s family and friends at this difficult time and whatever outcome arises with fashion week we will be sending luck and best wishes to designers and models who are still participating.
